Alice in Bibleland: A Childhood Favorite<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

When I found out I was pregnant with my oldest son, we were still living near my parents. One day my mom and I were browsing at an antique store, I spotted a set of books from the <\/strong>Alice in Bibleland series. My heart skipped a beat because I had loved<\/em> these books as a child\u2014especially The Story of Baby Moses<\/a>.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

I was so excited to find a set (20 books for $50) and bought them immediately. In fact, it was the very first thing I bought for my son. Over the years, we\u2019ve found more books from the series at Goodwill and continue to add to the collection, even though both of my sons are too old for these stories. I\u2019m building the collection now with the hope that one day their children will enjoy the same stories that brought me joy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Berenstain Bears: Timeless Family Stories<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Another childhood favorite of mine was The Berenstain Bears<\/a><\/em>. These were the books my parents read to me when I was little, and my mom saved them for me when I moved out of my parent’s house. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I had 20-25 books in my collection and couldn\u2019t wait to share these with my own children one day. As I expected, my boys loved these books as well and we’ve added to the collection over the years. It’s been fun reading new stories I hadn\u2019t gotten around to reading when I was a kid. These timeless family stories continue to hold a special place in our home\u2014and one day, I\u2019ll pass them down to my sons for their kids.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Why Passing Down Childhood Books Matters<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Books are more than just entertainment – they’re memory keepers. They connect generations, spark imagination and create traditions. Passing down a well-loved children\u2019s book gives your kids (and eventually grandkids) a glimpse into your own childhood, while also creating new memories as the stories are read again and again.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For me, it feels very special that the first thing I bought my children were books. Reading has always had a place in my heart, and I love knowing that these collections will live on in my family.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
