Amazon Prime Days are here (June 23-26)! This is a great time to snag some deals for yourself or get an early start on Christmas shopping.
I keep a running Wishlist for both my boys and myself, and I check them fairly often so I know when something is actually on sale. Be sure to compare prices, and you consider checking the price history on items as well. Sometimes Amazon adds that little red “Prime Day Deal” label, but the item was the same price the day before. 😊
Here are a few bookish items I’m keeping an eye on this week:
Book Protector
Whenever I take my boys to the pool, I take my book along and toss in a grocery bag to keep it from getting wet. This morning it was raining when my husband left for work, and he grabbed a grocery bag for his book to protect it on the walk from the parking lot to his office.
I don’t know why I never thought to look for one before, but waterproof book protectors actually exist! This seems like a great solution for trips to the pool, beach vacations, or even rainy-day commutes. They can also be used with many e-readers.
My Pick: Book Protector
TBR Scatch-Off Cards
I recently discovered these and immediately thought they were such a fun idea!
You write books from your TBR (to be read) list on the cards and then cover them with scratch off stickers. The next time you’re ready to start a new book, simply pick a card and scratch it off to reveal your next read!
If you struggle to decide what to read next, this could make choosing a book a lot more fun.

Book Stamp
I already own a book embosser, which I really enjoy using. It marks my books as part of my collection and helps ensure they find their way back home if I ever lend one out.
Books stamps offer even more customization options, with different fonts, designs and personalized text. This would make a thoughtful gift for any book lover – or make a fun addition to your own library.

Book-Themed Pencil Holder
In addition to reading, I love organizing things. We always seem to have loose pens and pencils scattered around the house, so I love the idea of storing them in a book-themed pencil holder.
It’s a practical way to keep writing supplies organized while adding a little literary charm to your desk, bookshelf or reading nook.

Decorative Bookends
Nothing is worse than books constantly falling over on a shelf. Not only does it look messy, but it can bend pages and damage spines over time.
Decorative bookends help keep shelves neat and organized while adding a little personality to your space. There are so many creative designs available that can match just about any decorating style.

Bookish Coasters
We recently redecorated our living room and realized we could use a few more coasters to help protect the furniture.
There are so many cute book-themed coaster sets available, making them both practical and decorative. They would also make a great gift for readers who enjoy curling up with a book and a cup or coffee or tea.
My Pick: Coasters
Of all these items, I’m most excited about book protector and TBR scratch-off cards!
