I started this blog one year ago, and my very first post shared my TBR pile for the new year. The start of a new year is always exciting – it’s a time for fresh starts, new goals, and of course, new books.
As motivational speaker Charlie “Tremendous” Jones famously said,
“You will be the same person in five years as you are today except for the people you meet and the books you read.”
As 2025 comes to a close, it felt fitting to look back at everything I read this year. Below is my complete 2025 reading list, broken down by month, along with my favorite and least favorite books of the year.

Final Thoughts on My 2025 Reading Year
Looking back at my reading in 2025, I’m proud of the variety of genres I explored – from historical fiction and memoirs to contemporary novels and nonfiction. I set a goal to read 36 books this year, and I finished right on track.
Tracking my books throughout the year makes it easy to reflect on reading habits and discover patterns in what I enjoy most.
If you tracked your reading this year, I’d love to know: how many books did you read in 2025, and which one was your favorite?
